Accused Guilty Disgraced

by Valerie Cox   Jun 9, 2012

No more to lie beside him as the golden fingered dawn creeps gently through my window as a brand new day is born.
No more the deep contentment as I bask within the glow of loving which mean't more to me than he will ever know.
Gone now is the flame of hope which brightly shone for me, snuffed out by thoughtless words I cried and now the misery of knowing that his trust in me so surely was misplaced. And knowing that I stand accused and guilty and disgraced.
