Young Child (My Sister)

by Chloe DeWitt   Jun 14, 2012

Young child, this is hard for me to say,
But you're reminding me of my drunken father,
In every single way....
Your violence and anger,
Your body and smile,
The way you kill, and somehow, make it worthwhile.
Please darling,
Don't make it so,
That you'll become that father,
That I unfortunately know.
Babe, I know it may seem tough,
Like you can't go on,
Because for you, life is soo rough...
But just stay tight,
And keep holding on,
Because killing yourself,
Will seem soo wrong.
For my love for you young child,
Is way too strong,
For me to continue on,
And finish this sad song.
