Your dark light

by Hadassah grey   Jun 27, 2012

My thoughts were so lean
When i took you in as green
On and on i played your game
Forgetting the depths of my name
Watering did not help my seed
For the end i never was able to read
More than the stars you glowed
The sun's rays you even stole
Which seemed to fill my soul
Between us our light shone
Oblivious of a broken bone
That which we saw as right
was morn which we dumped for night
All but love saw our sight
It made bidding bye a sorry plight
Far from you i take my stand
As i let go of your crooked hand
