I wish I could Have You

~This poem wasnt written from one of my experiances, my friend had requested that i write a poem for her to relate to, and this is it~

Who would have guessed
I could ever fall for you
Maybe I'm just impressed
Cause to me you're kind of new

I've known you for a while
But I never took the time
To notice your sweet smile
Or to wish you were mine

And now everything is different
You’re all I can think about
I think about you every moment
I just cant get you out of my head

But there's only one thing
That stands in my way
I can see you falling
More and more for her each day

I wish I could say
That you could fall for me
But I don't know if there's a way
you and I could ever be

It sounds tragic I know
A love that can't be fulfilled
If only I knew the way to go
so my chances won't be killed

My emotions are going astray
And I just don’t know what to do
I think about this everyday
And it’s driving me crazy

I want to be with you so much
I want you to hold me
I want to feel your gentle touch
But I don’t know how this can be

Every beat of my heart
loudly cries your name
I want so much to be with only you
I just wish you feel the same.

I've said it before
And I'll say it again
Though each day I love you more
We are still just friends.
