Right now I want to rest these thoughts inside my head
though Im not tired or ready for bed.
I dont want to get high, I dont want to think
I dont want to lie that I dont want a drink.
I need to clear my head of all these thoughts
I need to forget all these forget me nots.
I dont want to think of ex-girlfriends
I dont want to think what might have been
I dont want to dredge up memories past
I just want this quite time to last.
I dont want to remember any if onlys
I just want to sit here all alonely.
I dont want to wish on fallen stars
I dont want to think how things really are.
I dont want to think of places I've been
the question is happiness the answer is when.
I dont want to think what tomorrow will bring
my sanity requires I remember to forget things
I just want to be here .....unthinking!
