Alternative realities

I'm higher than a giraffes ass;
After the blast passed,
In the main vein,
Like a freight train;
But my brain remains,
Conscience, awake,
No mistake.
I take a breath, I feel death,
Creep, while I sleep,
He plans to reap, to keep,
Your soul his goal.
Doesn't matter,young or old'
Stories told, diced rolled,
No way out, soul sold, hands cold,
Your temples lifeless,
The cost is priceless,
You feel resentful,
All sins repentful'
The wait suspenseful,
Your dues paid, body weighed,
Unqualified, tongue tied,
Your goods appreciated,
Not bad, not hated,
Both examined and x-rated,
We are baited, traded and reincarnated,
Sent back to retract,
To find the time the hour went sour,
You cower,
All your power quickly devours the light,
You sight depletes as you fight,
Meet defeat ?
You might.
It's wrong but feels right,
Still tight, despite being jaded, persuaded,
Into taking a bite.
You knew right from wrong,
When you started the long,
Repetitive vocation, repeated rotation,
Again and again back to the start of creation.
No matter what race nationality or creed,
We all bleed,
Follow my lead,
We all have the same hunger to feed.
Envy your neighbors lives and their wives,
Now you're feeling deprived,
That's what makes us strive,
To come together, no matter the weather,
Some troubles are heavy, some light as a feather,
Whatever!
If it doesn't kill, than it likely will, make you strong,
For the long, hard climb up the hill,
But some feel its not real,
They got cheated, mistreated
They got a bum deal.
So write your story, your fable or tale,
You choose to worry, to be stable or fail.
If you believe, you can achieve,
As long as positive thoughts are conceived,
Rewards are received,
Answers to problems retrieved.
Some people mope, they hope,
There's a decrease in the slope,
Slack in the rope.
They sit, they wait,
Say whatever happens is fate.
You can accept what is given,
Or fight for a living.
You can make it, don't fake it, stay driven.
Plant the seed you need to succeed.
