Bell Bottoms

Once so young and seeking adventure
now Im older looking at dentures.
But when I look in the mirror its not that bad
its kind of like getting another look at my dad.
I renewed my license the other day
they changed my hair color to grey.
And all the new TV shows seem like moody vampire romance
and althought they dont fit I still have a few pairs of bell bottom pants.
My musical tastes may seem a bit moldy
the last record I bought is now a golden oldie.
I met a young girl I thought was interested in me
she said "oh tell me about your life sir I just love ancient history"
As time flies and quickly passes
I see things in a different way......I call them my glasses.
Some of the celebrities who were once so beautiful to me
would not need make-up to play a remake of the mummy.
Social insecurity? I might get paid
and I barely heard of a new program concerning hearing aids.
If you would like to swing by and visit this old chap
make sure you come by after my nap.
And when it comes to lovin' Im more not less
I just pop a viagra and handle my buisness!
