Anti-Hero

by joseph santacruz   Jul 11, 2012

I dont want to get involved, I want to spend my time chillin'
Im a real anti hero, does that make me a villian?
I sat and watched the drama unfold
then I turned the other cheek uncaring and cold.
So many bad memories remembering launches
the moment found my conscience unconscious.
Quit the noise, bring the stillness
my wellness requires a bit unwillness.
Call me worthless, but with these worms I'm not allied
and with lifes terms I've not complied.
You may think my unaction shames me
whenever I get invovled someone blames me.
Everythings not as it seems
Im stumbling and tripping chasing moonbeams.
Time to kick rocks and shake the spot
its no wonder why I get what I got.
As I run in this sorrowful mix
my mind keeps playing these powerful tricks.
I'm not to the rescue, no knight in shining armor
I'll mind my own buisness like a timid farmer.
My reluctant actions put my character to test
I cant get involved..............I have a warrant out for my arrest.
