Letter 56 ~The last day~

by Marcus blake   Jul 14, 2012

When I first saw you there was no moment to think
For all the things I wanted to say I suppose I saved for ink on paper
It was a lustful attraction, a quint interaction
looking for you though a crowd was the reaction
They say smiles are a promising thing
And when I looked into your eyes for that brief moment
I saw a few things
I know sweet things don't stay sweet forever
We all eventually lose our taste
Still...
I've wanted to hold you to know that feeling myself
Taste the flavor of a beautiful girl
Hear the voice of something soft and sweet
Something beautiful to me

"Love is in the moment that is not noticed by either of us" ~Marcus A. Blake~
