Big Phony

by joseph santacruz   Jul 14, 2012

All of a sudden I was feeling a bit talkative
so I went cellphone shopping for something cool and provacative.
I looked at all the contracts with all their fine print
one things for sure someones making a mint.
The phones all seemed so complicated, all those bells and whistles
like something NASA uses to program their missles.
Phones that take photos, phones that do texting
every phone I find I find so perplexing.
Phones that show movies, find dates and check stocks on
Im a simple man looking for a simple phone I can talk on.
So many doo-dads with so many features
to figure them out I'd have to hire a teacher.
Then one day I was as happy as can be
I found an easy older model just like me.
I quickly figured out a phone wasnt important after all
I burned all my bridges and had no one to call!
