Untruths

Liar! Liar! pants on fire!
to hear the truth is your desire.
Please quit lying I hear you beg
then once again I pull your leg.
You must insisit the truth be spoken
then once again my word is broken.
I try to be a lying stopper
then out of my mouth pops another whopper.
Im a real pussy cat I mean no harm
I just excel at spinning yarns.
Its not a case of deceitful personality
its just my own weak grasp of reality.
To tell tall tales I never fail
Im just the king of telling tales.
At times my answers may appear aloof
its only another slight untruth.
It isnt my intention to always fib
it seems at times I must ad-lib.
A guy like me should not be hated
just because I exagerrated.
I know you find it quite uncouth
that I dont always tell the truth.
To understand me you must realize
at times I tend to believe my own lies.
