Make your heaven yourself

by Umanath Kattel   Jul 24, 2012

Leap, dance and dance,
under the blue roof,
on the shining eyes of sky
at the summer's day
to make your master glad
in each second
but,
the dead soul never feels
the blind eyes never see
the stone heart never loves
because,
you are working in vain
irrigating for the dead plant
sowing in the desert
making the sand-bridge
with no cement,
do you know, why?
you have the mind of slave
of the culture, tradition,
of the religion, of the philosophy.
you worship those
who kill you
you apply the ointment there
where there is no wound,
turn back, and see
you are your enemy
throw the burden of culture from your back
forget the feelings of self and others
cross the boundary of nationality
ignore the old philosophy of living
see the world with kind eyes
you can see the heaven there.
