Lustful Drops

by Jaymi Lynn   Jul 26, 2012

My tears are such spareful creatures;
so abundant they are in times of great sorrow
but they not dare cross paths with my eyelashes...

I'd be too tough for that...

and they'd soon coward behind brown irises
and steal the bronze from my cheeks and
yet I'd still not weep for the poor devils.

I, unfortunately, have not stood
so boldly against tears of lust;

I have wept so heavily from the lustful drops
that dry the pores of my throat and swell
my tongue with the sweet taste of crimson...

Only such tears could ever taste so sweet;
you know this...
