Life Undone

by joseph santacruz   Jul 27, 2012

I have never been to France
or watched a ballerina dance
I have never milked a cow
sunned on a cruise ships bow
I have never had a good wife
or given blood to save a life.
I have never climbed a mountain
in spain splashed in a fountain.
I have never been a winner
champagne and caviar for dinner
The criminal life I'd chosen
leaves me stuck and frozen
revolving prison door for this tired man
Im doing life on the installment plan
allergic to this shady stuff
I always break out in hand-cuffs
Before Im taken under
by the undertaker
riding in a hearse on the way
to meet my maker.
If I want to do something
and in my life succeed
I need to get a clue..............indeed!
