Passage of misery

by Nella   Jul 29, 2012

Everything seems dry and parched now
No light, no hope, just a tundra of emotions
Falling into this abyss of pain and loneliness
Days come and go but this heartache remains,
My heart burns with a fire of a thousand suns,
My tears now are burning coals,
I try to reason with my pain,
Try to find some alleviation
But my heart refuses to accept it,
Refuses to let you go.
My nights are empty and colorless.
I just can't seem to find peace.
The passage of misery long and hard.
And though our paths divide
And the heart we shared splits,
You will always live in my memory
Even after you are gone,
For I never desired to part with you.
