Real Man

by joseph santacruz   Aug 10, 2012

I'm a real macho man, this said with pride
but lately I detect a feminine side

Im rugged and burly from the start
but who knows all the girly secrets of the human heart?

I went to an action movie...A real bezerker
when it was all done and said it was a real tear jerker.

It has been said that boys dont cry
then dont look this way as I dry my eyes.

'cuz about my masculinity I'm real sure
my nails? oh just a little gentlemens manicure.

My outfit? isnt it rather dashin'
I will admit lately I slave to fashion.

So often I wonder what would dad do?
I know he would'nt be caught dead in these shoes.

Cologne? I splash on a bit whenever I can
to be manly dosent mean to smell like a caveman.

Oh thats for her and not for his
who are you to tell me what a real man is?

A real man dosent put his hands on ladies
a real man doent drink up all his paydays.

A real man need'nt frequent singles bars
a real man need'nt puff big stinky cigars.

Let me tell you what I believe
God certainly did'nt make Adam and Steve.

To be a real man is your attitude
I have no inkling to romance a dude.

To be a real man I will describe if I can...
when I see a beautiful lady Im glad I am a man!
