Guilty Conscience

by Angel Slain   Aug 11, 2012

I swore revenge on an old poor man today,
But not everyone agreed it should end this way.
A life, a soul, but I swear it's true,
Because he took my soul with you.

I swore revenge on an old poor man today,
But not everyone believed I could blame his decay.
My life, and soul, and love is through,
All was so strong from each point of view.

I swore revenge on an innocent man today,
It's probably my fault, but it's better this way.
