Blind Beauty

by The Real Her   Aug 14, 2012

You Always Tell Me I'm Foolish,
Every time I Speak Of My Imperfections.
But I Know Each And Every One Of My Flaws,
They Are Like Incurable Infections.
Its A Disease Within My Skin,
Slowly Running Through My Veins.
Something So Hard To Get Rid Of,
Like UN-washable Stains.
You Call Me Insecure,
Uncomfortable In My Own Skin.
You Say My Thoughts Are Dangerous,
Somewhat Of A Mortal Sin.
If My Thoughts Make Me A Sinner,
Then I Will Pray For My Souls Security.
My Thoughts Make Me Who I Am,
So Wrong Yet So Lovely.
