Great work of you two! Only little critiques:
'only two pure enough to get back'
I think 'only two are pure enough to get back'
'midst of fellow' should be 'midst of her fellow'
    'forsee' should be 'foresee'
This aside, I enjoyed reading the whole story.

When I read the prompt, I immediately thought it would be so hard writing about Aphrodite without exaggerating it, but this is lovely, you both. The title is just perfect up to the very last word - Aphrodite's name itself. I thought it was brilliant, whether it was intended or not.

I love the black bird - ivory dove image, very memorable. As well as the rhodon and myrrhina references which added an elegant tone to this piece.

What I'm not sure about is 'gracefullness' the noun is simply 'grace', but if you'd want to retain this, you could drop the other L.?

I would've alse wanted to see references to the 'shell' where Aphrodite is often depicted as having emerged from? But that's just me lol.

    Lovely piece, great job.

EDIT: And the title - shouldn't it be "marvellous"?

You are right about "gracefulness", thanks for pointing that out.

As far as I know it's "marvelous" in AE, while it's spelled "marvellous" in BE.

      Thaaaaanks though :) :)
