Its been 30 years since we`ve been in touch
And back then we didn't talk that much,
Now our conversations never end
Fate has re - introduced a new friend,
She makes me laugh and smile a lot
So grateful for what life has brought,
We seem to share so many things
Looking forward to what else this brings,
Finding a woman with morals so true
Seems like something I could never do,
Although distance keeps us apart
She is so easy to let in my heart,
Time will tell where this may go
The more we talk the more I want to know,
For now I appreciate where we are
Feeling the light of this shining star
