I will Soon Forget You

by Sagar Dutta   Aug 20, 2012

I will soon Forget You were your last words to me,
With no signs of Guilt or Regret.
I etched those words into my Heart,
With no intentions to ever Forget.

I wonder how I thought it to be,
But how it turned Out.
I don't know What to Do,
Whether To Scream,
Or Whether To shout.

If You do realise my Pain,
Why is that you are standing there and Watching me Suffer?
I Never promised to make it rain,
Neither I had much to offer.

Always Loved your Sweet Smile,
And the Way You Looked At Me.
I prayed to God to make it last Forever,
But it seems that it was not mine to Keep.

Life stood Still, after you Left,
Life was hell for Days.
But now, when I think back about it all,
I feel it was better we parted our Ways.

I am Glad to see that you're Happy,
Glad to know whatever you said was true.
Glad to know that you kept your words;
Coz' You said,"I will soon Forget You.."
