Whispered Songs of Eternal Minds

by Emily   Aug 26, 2012

Wispered breaths from dry,
grey tongues.

Listen carefully.
Can you hear?

Here in death,
much like once lived;
cold and alone,
without a begining;
or an end.

Eternal suffering,
darkened hearts,
from all the memories
that have past.

But,
one thing prevails,
and this is
hope.

For upon this darkness
a light prevails
amoung the stone;
making shadows
blend into reality.

Through out time,
forgotten lovers fall carelessly down,
resting only upon this fog laiden ground.

Where only sad grave stones,
decayed with age,
still dance.

Can you hear them now?
