We Shall Not Age

by Timothy   Aug 27, 2012

We spent the night in a mystical wood.
Shadows, cloaked, wept over our innocent bodies
and rubbed knowledge up our grey nostrils.
The words of the sky, too dangerous to be tamed,
taught us the value of life that night.
And then all was live.
Colours flew from the trunk of trees,
and brushes soaked in paints of blue and gold
melted on our tongues.
Symphonies fell off staves
and whistled from the village in the north.
Jeering men weaved throughout the bushes
and the sight of joyous children echoed through our hearts.
And then we left through nooks of old,
and age we did not flower fold.

Thanks for the praises guys, appreciated as always! I agree, Thomas, time and existence prevent us from enjoying our treasured moments. It's up to us to value the little things that present themselves.

    Very imagery painted here.

We all wish we could be young forever but then the very reason of our existence would be gone. If we have sense of urgency in our lives then we would do nothing at all.
