Daddy went Home this morning, In the twinkling of an eye; A peace came across his face, As I leaned in to say good-bye. He is with his blessed Savior, Our precious Mother by his side; What a wonderful family reunion, At that mansion in the sky. And though our hearts are broken, That his life on earth is done; Someday we'll all be reunited, When our own victory is won. He spent his life serving others, Many friends he's left for sure; Those memories now will keep us, As long as this life endures. And though we will sorely miss him, God will join us once again; In that glorious place called Heaven, Where joy will never end!
