Please hold while I choke on your words,

absorbed like cheap liquor,

just to bury the ache deeper.

Shovels of your delicate lies,

digging through my simple construction,

leaving behind a treasure map of insecurities,

scars sure to be revealed again.

Your poetic tragedies remain inscribed along

the binding of my superfluous soul but the taste

of your deadly ink is becoming antique,

far too familiar to leave such destruction.

Grand theft of my innocence but I see through your eyes.

I'll dive into your capillaries, infiltrate like a virus,

ripping through your hardware.

Intoxicating curiosity leave my mind and I will relinquish your prison.

Raped shy by your silence, retire from my soul and let me regain my smile.

Once tender, now violent, leave my heart, exit it's remains with pride.

Don't be humble, bathe in it's shattered pieces.

Paint yourself with it's agony.
