Knight in Plastic Armor

by Dustin Stanley   Sep 24, 2012

I am a knight in plastic armor.
Though my dreams shine bright
My reality pales in comparison.
I envision fighting dragons from horse back,
Slaying the Jabberwock with my Vorpal Sword,
Saving my damsel the princess.
But in truth my horse only rocks to and fro.
My sword but a sliver of branch.
My foes and princess alike but wisps of fantasy.
I am but a knight in plastic armor.
