Glutton

You belly up to me, ready to feast.

Hand grappling your shiny spoon.

You dig deep.

Sighing, mouthing me,

tasting, testing,

rolling me on your tongue.

You swallow all of me,

bathe in the scent of my flesh.

You eat me up

and leave nothing

but hollow bones.
