Really Kills You

by karle   Sep 28, 2012

Mind numbing pain, like a knife to a vein.
It kills you inside, when you honestly know you tried.
Financial issues and just struggling to get by.
It really kills you inside when you know your the reason why.
Watching the hardship of my mother trying her best to keep us alive, breaks my heart slowly and brings a tear to my eyes.
All our money blown just for me to go to prom.
Now you cant tell me she aint the best mom.
She dont look happy and, havent seemed to be in a while. I would really love to just see my momma smile. It would mean the world to me to see her happy.
But its all because of me why she cant be.
Even though she wont admit it, I know im the one who did it. Money was doing great until like a week before prom. Its all because of me, our money is all gone.
