Saying Goodbye

by Clara Sloan   Sep 28, 2012

Looking at that stick with a puls in the circle
My heart feels with joy and happiness, love takes over
Im in awe of how life can change in an instance
For that moment reality stood off, waiting anxiously at a distance
Seconds later, uncensored, and without my permission
Lifes truth came busting in
Past memories of poverty and abuse, visions of prison and a life filled with sin
My heart fights back, your wrong, that wont happen, ill find a way for them to win
I turn to God for his help, father calm my mind and keep me sane
Casting down all thoughts of choosing death, my blood flows in its veins
As the answer to my prayer came through my spirit like a knife
I grabbed serenity knowing God was blessing someone, using my body to form a mircale in their life
Time passes and then God provided a divine conection
They vow to love, guide and give him constant protection
November 11th 2007, time to say goodbye
I asked God how, already sure of the why
You cant see it now, one day you will
I know you cant bare it all, im sharing the hurt that you feel
The pain wont last forever, it will transform into power
Love never says goodby it will still be here after
