How Could You?

by WritingtheStars   Oct 14, 2012

You've broken her spirit
At such a young age.
She's crying in her room,
Losing her will to be strong.

You've already broken me,
So why must you break her, too?
She's so innocent
And wants to make you proud.

She's well behaved,
But you call her mean.
She makes better grades than me,
Yet, you call her dumb.

She's little and weak,
So why must you put her down?
You're the monster, not her.
How could you beat such a fragile soul.
