The Brick Wall

By Alaina Noelle O'Neill

I run and run I always run
In different directions, I think you have won
there are only two directions
in which one there is an obstacle
I trip and trip and I always fall
and I cannot keep running because of the wall
So, what I am trying to say is that I've made many mistakes
But, the only one I have never made is to stop loving you
So, I choose to keep running to the pathway
that will eventually lead me straight in your arms
and I will then realize that the pain and the suffering was worth it after all
