The men with the tanks

by Alaina   Nov 6, 2012

There was a long pause
silence remained
With every person
tears were strained
the trumpets started to sound
the taps had begun
They laid out a flag
You honored us
But you did not make a fuss
You were brave and noble
in the war that was global
the guns were shot
The ceremony started
Though every one was broken hearted
We gave out our thanks
to the men with the tanks
