A MAN I KNEW

A man I knew
You loved me not for the way I looked
You loved me not for the way I dressed
You loved me for the way I was
And not loving you was my loss.

No I still don't love you
I don't feel that way about you
But I respect the man that you are
For ur heart shines like a star.

You noticed me when no one did
You made me feel special
I wish I could love you like the way you loved me
But what can I do when love has chosen not to be.

Forgive me for having not loved you back
The way that you loved me
I dint mean to part ways to hurt
Someday, I hope you understand.

(WE ALL OFTEN GO THROUGH A TIME IN OUR LIFE WHERE WE MISTAKE INFATUATION TO BE LOVE. THIS POEM IS ABOUT THE SAME. ITS ABOUT A GUY WHO LOVED ME WITH ALL HIS HEART AND I BROKE HIS HEART BY TELLING HIM I DINT LOVE HIM AFTER HAVING DATED HIM FOR FEW MONTHS. HE WAS A GREAT GUY AND I AM JSUT AN AVERAGE LOOKING GIRL. WE DONT TALK ANYMORE. BUT IF I EVER HAD A CHANCE I WOULD LIKE TO TELL HIM HOW GREAT A PERSON HE REALLY WAS AND HOW I HAD NO CHOICE TO BUT PART WAYS SO THAT HE WOULDN BE HURT.)

    Sometimes its so sad that we cant tell our hearts
    to love the person who we want to love ...

    Eventhough, that person is such an amazing, fantastic, awesome person our hearts seemed to not work the way we want it too...

    But maybe its for the better
    Maybe it doesnt work that way
    'cause theres already a person destined for us
    and that the person whom our heart will love

    Lol what am i saying,,,
    im only 13 i have no experience when it comes
    to love and hurt and im saying things like this all of a sudden? x]

    anyways....
