Lost at sea.

Sometimes I wonder,
why I am stuck in such a slumber,
and cannot swim myself out.

Wished for help,
Lost at sea.
Drowning in all the kelp-
that has surrounded me.

Entangled, in a mess.
Being left behind-
I feel alone.

One wave blows over,
yet another to come.
Floating on cold,
salty sea waters.

I am waiting for the Sun.

    Nice poem, I could imagine being lost at sea how afraid and sad i would be. I like how your poem lay the groundwork and put the image clearly in my head. Nice
