Blurry Spaces

by marilyn marti   Oct 31, 2012

I have a feeling in my fingertips,
reaching for your lips,
I was trying to reach,
but I reached and missed.

I took a look and closed my eyes,
I felt the feelings die,
I crawled into my bed,
our love was ash lifting to the sky.

I tried to love you in any away,
but you got far away,
and now your golden face
is just a blurry space.

I love this poem even if it is short, it still has alot of emotion and imagery that other poems wont have. This is different than what i usually read but it makes it more special and stuff like that. I love it

Somewhat short, its nice. Makes the reader crave for more. The rhymes are real good, not trying too hard, it has simplicity but doesnt come as boring. Nice one here, real nice. I like 'em. :)
