Jack and Jill

by Stephanie   Nov 4, 2012

Jack and Jill went up the hill
to fetch a pail of water,
Jack pushed Jill, and down she fell
And Jill's life was soon no longer

Then Jack was left without a clue
of how to hide the body
He dug a hole, and laid her there
in hopes they wouldn't find her

As days went by with no sign of Jill
Jack thought he'd gotten away
The town could not find her, and so they prayed
to see Jill again one day

Then came a storm like none before
the rain came down so hard
It flooded the land, and dug up Jill's body
and floated it through the town

Jack saw the body, and soon confessed
sure that he was caught
He tried to run, but the town ensued
and killed him on the spot
