I love the way you expressed yourself in stanza one! like if you only gaurded yourself or held some protection, he would noot hhave had this approtunity to hurt you the way he did..it would not have been as bad..

wounds that refuse to heal, tell me about that, it's us refusing to let it heal, somehow, we just come back to it, we never move on, well not until something rreallyy worth it washes it off our chest.

i love the twist in your ending stanzas, sometimes it's now how we think they are, sometimes it's just not meant to be...and just sometimes we learn to accept and shut up and hope that someone else will show up and refix what have been messed up...

Chelsey, I hate to know that you are finding it hard to move on and that you have this emotion, but it certainly is making you write some good damn poetry, absolutely amazing once again, it is the creativity and way with words you have that blows my mind.
I love how you added the doctor and medical aspect into it, metaphorically perfect, and so unique and that really is what you are about, your writing is so you...its amazing
