A world gone blind

In the Bible we are told, there comes a time
when we need to be bold,
speak our minds about things unseen like the hand of God reaching down to men
to draw them up to be with HIM,
But, sad to say, some won't'see
their eyes have been blinded by the world's greed.

All they know is give me, give me,

They believe they deserve everything their hearts desire give it now, give it now!

It may seem free, but, there will come a bill
and they will see nothing in this life is ever free!

The only free gift comes from above
God's grace in HIS only Son!

Jesus freely gave his life for you and me,
to open our eyes that we might see
GOD'S love for us is so real to me!

So, open your heart and let HIM in,
HE will take away all your sin,
and give you what you need the most,
eternity in Heaven with the heavenly host.

Pray this prayer with me, God come into my heart and set me free, then turn away from all your lust and put your faith in GOD WE TRUST!!!!!!

    This is one of those poems that makes me happy to see someone declare what they believe. I like how you capitalized God's name, it shows how you have a respect for him and I also like the way you put this poem in form. Well written.
