In this room

by Ole Carsten   Dec 7, 2012

In This room

my happiness goes parade,
steps are heard as well
they tap-dance here
in here my soul lives

my happiness screams to the walls
and laughter echoing smiles
I am singing loud
With a cheerful voice

My room have seen sorrow
Here I have lost my temper
I know thing can be tuff
But I am a cork screw floating

In my room I have travelled
Climb Mountains
Crossed rivers and streams
rowed across Oceans

In my room
I have cursed PC's
When the mail didn't come
I have yelled at the internet

Inside the walls
My mind suffocate sometimes
Until the blue sadness vanish
In me there is an optimist, somewhere

This room has seen lust
untamed lust
steaming windows calls
into the dark night

This room has smelled of
Christmas trees
Hot chocolate and bread
Fragrance unknown as well

Soon I hope
The room will be empty
Silent will be there
On the repainted walls

I will decorate
Another room
With white colors
Oil canvas on the walls

This time not alone
It will be a new room
I hope the room and I
Fits together in harmony

I love the part with the canvas. I don't buy
pictures or paintings, I do create them myself, creating a certin atmosphere.
From what I gather, no matter where we go in life, we can rearrange or redecorate rooms, the past will always follow us.
    Great write
