Unfair punishment

by Sofie   Dec 14, 2012

I don't want to get over you.
It's not fair that we have to give up on us,
just because someone else doesn't want us to try.
You're giving up on me to satisfy your friends.
I'm giving up on you because my sister can't handle us being together just because you're her best friend.

It's absurd!
It seems like it's a punishment for falling inlove with you,
and that's not fair 'cause I couldn't help it.

I want to be with you.
But if fighting for you means that you will lose your friends and not be happy, then.. I don't want to be a part of it.

I wish you the best of luck on wherever your journey leads you, even if it means you finding someone else to fall inlove with instead.

As long as you're happy, I am too.
