One night is all it took,
it was like a love story from a book.
We fell in love it was nothing but smiles,
the sound of your voice I could hear from miles.
All was well, never would have thought,
a great deal of love ended when I fought.
I held so much in by losing my dad,
never to talk, I drank instead.
I took every thing out on you,
the one true love I only knew.
Now I'm faced with not having you by my side,
I hate that every time you think of me the tears roll down your eyes.
I don't blame you from not wanting me in your sight. Cause all it took was that one night!
