I don't ususally read rhyming pieces, I usually stop half way through, but this made me smiled and I loved the adorable lovey dovey ring to it!!

when you approach my soul,
your breath lifts my chin,
and you kiss me to the core.

Wow - great opening to a love poem. heart skipping a beat straight away implys how special this person is and how they make you feel. They appraoch your soul, meaning they know the real you, they see what is inside of you and they love it for what it is. I can see you lifting your head without him even touching you, like he does it through his thoughts, this is very powerful.

Your spirit gives me hope
to a future so bright.
