The princess of a not related brother

You took me in when there was no one else, treated me like a princess cause I was never cared for too much. Taught me how to cover bruises left on me by an abuisive dad. Called me your princess. Taught me how to fight. To take care of myself. Raised me to be your little sister. Though you couldve left me standing there that day that I ran out of my house thinking no one cared. With blood dripping down my arms as I sat there and cried. Not knowing who you were or that you lived next door. You came over and asked what was wrong not seeing the blood or the cuts on my arms. Not caring when you did you didnt judge. You helped me up and took me inside cleaned my cuts and made them dry. Me Not knowing who you were or that you lived next door, not knowing that you had a caring heart until that time and to this day I call you out I say things like Hey Big bro I miss you. I trusted you then and I still trust you now. I remember that day I became your little princess, Your sister. The one you taught so much. The one you loved as a sister even though you didnt have to,. The one you showed that some one cared.

This poem is dedicated to my no related Brother who didnt care about my past he took me in and showed me that I could be loved. He showed me that someone really could care about the girl who thaught she was a mistake. I love my not related brother he has always been there for me even in the darkest of times.
