Ceiling

by Noah Richards   Jan 7, 2013

Sometimes I look at my bedroom ceiling
And think about you and me
Thinking about my love for you
And all of your beauty

I think of us laying in an open field
Just gazing at the stars
Then kissing you slowly
While holding you in my arms

I think about your smile
Your laugh and your pretty face
Your eyes, everything and more
That I love you, and there's nothing to disgrace

I think of how happy I am with you
How I want to be with you for a long time
Nobody, not a single thing
Can change that about my mind

I think of how funny you are
And at the sound of your voice, I smile
About how nothing can come between us
And how my love for you can stretch for miles

To me, saying "I Love You" isn't enough
I have to do something more
I want to show you I care
By doing something moral and pure

I want to love you and care for you
I want to express you my true feelings
I want you to understand how I feel
When I stare at my bedroom ceiling

Great poem, when you truly love someone the little things about that individual stands out like the way they talk, smile, laugh and so much more.

I also like how you expressed that this person means so much to you that they consume your thoughts and energy.

    Good poem...
