Her Eyes

by Noah Richards   Nov 29, 2013

The sun crawls into the morning sky
As we lay here, just her and I
Under the suns warmth
Consumed by the light in her eyes

Two personal stars placed on her face
Revealing welcomeness, care, and grace
So defined and focused
Ready to comfort and embrace

A vast and deep sea
Where all her emotions are seen
One could get lost in her eyes
And swim for miles without regime

A dark room in the middle of nowhere
Where walls tell of her every tear
Doors are in every corner
But to open one, you wouldn't dare

A snow filled woodland
Where the cold glides across your hands
The cool breeze soothes and relaxes you
And reassures you're in good hands

A never ending meadow
Where all her happiness goes
Where she can be herself
And few are welcome to call home

The sun climbs below the horizon
Her stars go into hiding
But my eyes still look into hers
Waiting for hers to open again
