The Child's Basic Right of Entitlement

by Sean Ash   Jan 7, 2013

A mother has no more a right to her children than the same right a father has to his. It is not for the mother or for the father to distribute justice or to make separate claims over the child they both created. It is also not for any court or state to do the same. Both mothers and fathers are exclusively equal in the creation of their sovereign child. The very moment you begin to question the rights and roles of the father to the child and then proceed by acting against him, what you are really doing is questioning the rights and roles of a child in respect to their relationship with their father. You remove a relationship originally founded on the premise of love, and you replace it with a relationship that is artificially redesigned on the foundations of injustice to which the relationship can only result in a long and painful struggle for both father and child. You are not only hurting the father. Fundamentally, you are crushing the child.
