I never had to speak

by Lindsay Wilson   Jan 9, 2013

I never needed to speak;
It has already all been written.
I write to feel closer to you anyways.
The agony of a naked soul,
As the eyes of judgment cast upon me.
Our tale already told.
Discurgement each time I hear our story untold.
I never needed to speak;
because you were there.
The only thing that ever made me care.
I write to you, so if we only shall meet again in passing,
You know you never left my thoughts.
I never let go of your unconditional love,
And I never will.
I never needed to speak,
For some how the world already knew.
Knew how brave that you are to me.
How special your brief moment here was.
I only needed to speak,
Because the more they talked,
The greater the silence grew.
The further they took you from me.
So even though I never needed to speak.
I only speak of you.
