Summertime Fun

by Andrew Packard   Jan 20, 2013

Summertime Fun,
Relaxing in the Sun.
Every Year,
The Smokies Draw us near.

Crystal Blue,
Of the Bahama's.
Rising Bubbles,
Snorkeling with Sting Rays on the Bottom.

Body Surfing,
In Suds of Foam.
Beach Combing,
As the Tides Roam.

Coming Back Home,
For Something to do.
Accompanied or Alone,
Take to Your Canoe.

Author notes
Wrote this one for my 12 year old as he continues to remember better times before the divorce when we used to vacation as a family!
