What is a friend?

The letters mean: F: Fake, R:Regret, I: ignorance, E: Enemy, N: Nothing, D: Destructive. So why do we put all our faith in having such hurtful beings? Alone is where I would rather be. Deceitful words and lies are all that make us feel better. You figure out these fake ones quickly. Keep your distance, never let them get close. Make them think you are with them but always remember in your mind that they don't care for no one but themselves. Never let them meet your loved ones for they can manipulate them as well.
Even against you. The farther you place yourself from them the better off you are. I can't let no one in anymore. My heart is cold as ice. Ice queen you shall call me. No more warmth surrounds me. Stupid was I to even think she was my friend.
