Awakening

Awakening....

Days of Spring Soon With Us Now,
Farmers Under Bright Full Moon,
Will Seed the Land with Blade of Plough.

The Heat of Summer but a Memory,
Rushed By Us So Fast,
Tonight A Rare Gem Came to Me,
To My Heart May She Near at Last.

We Talked of Many Things This Night,
In Matters of the Heart.
Our Thoughts on Living Ethically,
And Knowing Wrong From Right.

Our Words of Funny Stories & Family Life,
We Shared of Our Past Challenges,
And long Past Dark Days of Strife.

A Kiss She Then Gave to Me,
As Sweet As Harvest Corn.
Within Myself Awakened Now,
A Passion Is Re-Born.

On Cool Clear Winds May She Ride with Me,
A Picture of Good Looking Health.
She Dusted Off My Cedar Chest,
My Passions Stored Away in There,
High Upon a Shelf....
